As usual I have to start a blog by apologizing for slogging (slack + blogging)...
But I'm busy and I'm knee deep in trying to write a clean version and dirty version of a proposal of my radio show... I won't say for where.. cause I don't wanna jinx anything...but it's a pretty cool place to be if you can' play with the big boys.' Ugh. I hate that saying.

I keep getting distracted by lesbian sex (amazing) and all the other shit I have to write-  It's overwhelming me.. I have to remind myself that I've got a life time of work ahead of me ..and to just take it one project at a time.

SOULO THEATRE IN NYC
One of the many projects I'm working on is my one woman show and was invited to take a Soulo Theatre workshop in NYC with Tracey Erin Smith a couple of weekends ago and it was amazing!

It's my third writing workshop with her and I was thrilled to be asked to come and work with some really talented performers. Writing can be lonely sometimes so this was a nice treat to share the process with other writer/performers.

Can't wait to go back and hang out with all my new friends from the weekend, who were all so lovely and inspiring.

I do believe this workshop is for anybody who wants to find their authentic voice..and tell their story. However they like it.

HOTEL OR AIRBNB???
Since I was only going to be in NYC for the weekend I went through Airbnb for the first time and I gotta say, it worked out perfectly! The place I stayed was affordable and it was right in Chelsea, which was down the street from the Theatre Lab where the workshop was. My host couldn't have been sweeter and made me feel at home before he left for the weekend. I had the place all to myself..... (I may or may not have masturbated in a strangers bed).....

The only thing that sucked in NYC was that I dropped and killed my blackberry from the fifth floor fire escape, trying to take a picture of the Chelsea market for you all...
Yes, I know I'm klutzy. Shit happens.

I did get a temporary android phone to tie me over when I got back to Canada but then I HATED IT!
Sent it back to Ted Rogers and now I'm waiting to get my iphone.   I never thought I could live without BBM and sexting....but it's kind of nice not being found.

Ok....I'd rather be found.

Anyways, gonna go and learn my lines for an upcoming show...HERD RANTS 2
